Gymnastics (week 3)

Today Addyson did great at gymnastics. I am so glad. I think it just took a little getting used to. She had fun jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the bar like a monkey.

Oral Surgery

Today Aubryn had to go to Dr. Alfonso an oral surgeon to have 6 baby teeth pulled. Her mouth is so small there isn't enough room for the permanent teeth that are coming from the baby teeth she has already lost. This is only a temporary solution as the teeth that were pulled start coming in there will be crowding again. So this is going to be a long process and eventually she will have to wear braces.

Aubryn was put to sleep for this procedure. Her daddy and I were so proud of her. She did so good. She was a little nervous when they were putting the iv in but other than that she did great. They gave her gas and she was acting kind of silly before she went to sleep.

When we got home we were preparing for the worse (lots of bleeding, vomiting, etc...). She didn't have any problems. She was really hungry because she could only have liquids. We gave her the hydrocodone as directed, the pharmacist said it would knock her out but it didn't. She didn't sleep at all. I know it would have had an affect on me, I don't know why it didn't do anything to her. If anything it hyped her up more. She is ready to go back to school tomorrow. Which isn't near as much fun as watching movies and eating ice cream and chocolate pudding all day.

Future Dancer

Aubryn has dance Mondays at 4:30 at Joel's House of Dance. We usually go to dinner with Amy while Aubryn is dancing but she couldn't meet us today so I decided to stay (just for tap) and let Addyson watch her sissy tap dance. I put her little dance leotard on her and we sat right there and watched. Well I sat, Addyson stood on the edge of the dance floor and would watch what the class was doing and try to imitate. She was so cute. The reason we don't stay anymore is because I couldn't ever keep her off the dance floor she would run out there in the middle of class. She did so good today standing right where she was supposed to. I was so proud of her. I can't wait for her to start dance.

Gymnastics (week 2)

Yesterday was week 2 of gymnastics and Addyson cried almost the whole time. The last 5 minutes she jumped into the pit and started playing but it was a little too late by then. She didn't even play with baby Natalia like she usually does she sat down in front of her for a minute but mostly wanted me to hold her. Maybe she will do better next week. She looked so cute in her red, white, & blue leotard!

I really don't think she felt good, she has had a lot of congestion lately and I have been giving her Zyrtec but it doesn't seem to be working that good anymore. I think it is just allergies. I called the doctor and they called something in for her that afternoon.

Spring (Fall) Cleaning

I was in the laundry room doing laundry this morning and all of the sudden Addyson was missing. I was calling out for her as I was walking through the house looking for her and of course she didn't answer, she never does when she is doing something she isn't supposed to. I found her in her room sitting on the floor surrounded by a pile of stuff that she had emptied from a dresser drawer. At least she was trying to re-fold it. But of course I had to clean it all up.

Brownie Meeting

Last night was Aubryn's first Brownie meeting since school has started back. They take a break during summer. I was helper at the meeting and it was good to see all the girls. They all have changed so much over the summer and have really grown up. They have some fun things planned for this winter we can't wait.

Trip to Petsmart

Today I decided that it would be neat for Addyson to get to take Sophie shopping. Just the girls. Addyson had fun riding in the back of the cart with Sophie. She liked looking at the animals there. We picked out a new pink bed and a toy for "Sophie baby". I just hope that Addyson doesn't think that we can take Sophie shopping with us everywhere. We didn't forget about about Bentley he got a new id tag for his new collar. We couldn't take him though he is too wild! It was girls only anyways.

Gymnastics

Today was Addyson's first day of gymnastics at Mega. She wasn't too sure about it at first them warmed up a little then cried a little. She seemed to like the bar, she liked hanging on it and swinging on it. She did the balance beam ok too. I know she liked seeing all of her friends there. Greer, Juliana, Ava, and Ella are in her class. So we will see how it goes next week. After we left I asked her if she liked it and she said yes. She told her daddy and her Gran that it was fun.

Hurricane Party

The Cooper family came from New Orleans to get away from hurricane Gustav. We had a great time at the lake. The kids had a great time playing together. The guys were on their lap tops "Hurricane Central" off and on trying to get the latest updates on what was happening in New Orleans, trying to see if they had electricity, if their house was still there etc... Addyson had so much fun playing with Lila and Grady and just loved baby Chloe. The Cooper's brought some fish with them and we had a big fish fry one night. It was a great time!

Labor Day at the Lake

(a lot of labor going on at the lake) Everyone is having a blast just relaxing and hanging out. It is so nice to have the Cooper family here.
