Addyson's 1st Hair Cut - Aubryn's??? Hair Cut

Last Wednesday, Oct. 22 was Addyson's first hair cut. I know that I have needed to cut it forever because of the long pieces that hang down on each side but I have not been able to let it happen (that is hair that she has had since she was born). Plus Greg did not want it cut, not even when we finally did it but it had to be done, it was long over due. Anyway, she would not sit in the chair by herself, she had to sit in my lap so big sissy had to take the pictures.

I had to post this hair cut of Aubryns because this one was major! Aubryn has been asking to get her hair cut off to shoulder length for a very long time and I have refused. I told her that when Addysons hair got as long as hers I would let her cut hers off. But something happened last week, I don't know what, I think I lost it! But it was for a good cause. I let Aubryn cut 8 inches off her hair to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths for women who lost their hair due to cancer. Aubryn was so happy! And to tell the truth I think her hair looks better shorter. (that is hard for me to admit, but it's true)

Peyton's 2nd B-day Party

I took Addyson to Peyton's b-day party and she had a great time. She was excited to see all of her friends and she loved playing on Peyton's jungle gym. She went down his slide a million times. She kept saying "I wanna side" (slide). Addyson was just making herself at home, she was helping herself to snacks and when I took her inside to change her diaper, I laid her down on the couch and she looked at the tv and said "my show" she wanted to chill on his couch and watch her "show" which is the Baby Channel. Thanks Peyton!

Cheetah Girls Concert

My friend Lynn and I took Aubryn and Zachary to see the Cheetah Girls Sat, Oct. 18, at Alltel Arena. 535 and the Clique Girls were the opening acts. During the concert the Cheetah Girls came out in the middle of the audience on a little stage that was right next to our row and Aubryn stood right there and got to touch two of the girls hand. She was super excited! The show was good, better than last year. The kids had a good time!

AR State Fair

Aubryn was out of school Friday so me, Greg and the girls went to the fair. Kids got in free and got to ride rides for free until noon. We met Dinah, Juliana, and baby Natalia "sissy" there. The girls had fun riding the rides. We stayed past noon and decided to get an arm band for me and Aubryn so we could ride more rides. We saw a giant horse and a giant steer. I couldn't believe how big they were. Aubryn got her face painted. We took the girls to the agriculture kids center and they got to see and pet a lot of animals. Addyson loved all the animals, she didn't want to leave. She saw and pet mini horses, ducks, cows, baby chicks, rabbits, llama, goats, a zebra, a camel, and more. We watched the tiger show that had all different color tigers in it, the high dive show, and daddy ride the mechanical bull, which I didn't get a picture of and I wish I did. We had a good time and ate a lot. We had to get fried oreos on the way out.

The potty

Here is a picture of what Addyson used to do on the potty. As of this week she has used the potty 3 times. We are proud. It is going to be a slow process because she really doesn't like to use the potty much but we will get there eventually. When she uses it we all do the "pee pee" dance (which should be an incentive for her to use the potty all the time just to get to see what I look like doing the dance) and make her potty play music and she gets m & m's.

Gymboree

Just a few pictures of Addyson last week at Gymboree. She is now in level 5 and it is really neat. They get to do more imaginative play.

Dance (week 2)

Addyson did so good her second week of dance. She does really good in tap but by the time she gets part of the way through ballet she doesn't pay attention as well. She starts to go off and do her own thing. She will get used to it after a while. All of the girls looked so cute in their dance outfits.

Arkansas State Fair

Monday was kids day at the fair. Kids got in free and got to ride rides for free from 10 - 12. We met Merrit and Greer there. Addyson and Greer had fun riding the rides. Addyson was happy even when she wasn't riding rides and just riding in her stroller looking at all the people. We had lunch and then Merrit and Greer had to go. We stayed and watched the pig races and went to the little petting zoo and Addyson liked looking at all the animals, she really liked the zebra and the fat pig that was asleep Addyson said "night night." We had a good time and can't wait to go back with big sissy on Friday.
