Addyson at 2

You are such a good little girl. You love to play with your market, babies (real & stuffed), balls, and dogs (real & stuffed). You are such a good little mama with your babies. You like to take care of your baby cousin Clint and rock him to sleep. You like to imitate everything your big sissy does.

You eat pretty good. You have a sweet tooth just like you mommy. You still don't like milk but we try to get in your dairy servings with yogurt, cheese, and ice cream at bed time almost every night with mommy when she eats hers. You don't like many vegetables, except corn. You are eating meat (other than hot dogs) again, if hot dogs are even considered real meat. You will eat chicken and cheeseburgers. Some favorites are pizza, mac n chesse, grapes, Wendy's chicken nuggets, and rice is probably your most favorite right now. For breakfast you love Eggo nutrigrain blueberry waffles and other things. I am listing too much.

You are so funny right now! You think if you close your eyes we can't see you. You love to look at the moon. You are really sweet and always say I'm sorry when appropriate. I'll list more later.

Addyson's 2 Year Checkup

Yesterday was Addyson's 2 year check up with Dr. Miers. She is 34 1/2" tall and weighs 29lbs. she is in the 75 percentile in height and weight. She got her Hep A shot and FluMist in her nose instead of the flu shot. She did really good this time, she let Dr. Miers look in her ears, nose, and mouth and listen to her heart without crying, this was a first. She did cry when she got her shot though. I was so proud of her! I guess playing doctor with big sissy all the time has helped.

The Mini Market

For Addyson's birthday we got her a Mini Market and she absolutely loves it! Her big sissy does too. They play with it all the time. It is the most used toy they have next to the plasmacar. They have so much fun shopping for their groceries and taking turns checking each other out. Then they have to re-stock the shelves and start all over again. When Addyson shops she buys everything, she empties the shelves and her shopping cart is overflowing. (wonder where she gets that from?) Anyways, I highly recommend the mini market it is one of 2 toys that are played with consistently, on a daily basis in our house.

Halloween

Halloween night we went to a little get together at a friends house with some of Addyson's playgroup friends and then the girls went trick or treating. Addyson really had fun, big sissy did too, of course but we already knew that she would. The girls went to the neighbors doors together and rang the bell while Greg and I waited on the sidewalk. Addyson did it just like a big girl. One time she saw some kids in one house and she just started to walk past the person to go inside it was so funny! I guess she thought she would just stay and play. The girls only went to a few close houses in our neighborhood and then we went to visit Gran and Gramps.
