Gramps girls

Wednesday Gran and Daddy had to go to Hot Springs to work and they weren't going to be home until late so Gramps and I took the girls to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner and to play. They had a great time. It isn't very often that Gramps makes a trip to Chuck E. Cheese with us so it was special.

Gymnastics (week 4)

This was the best week yet. She can hardly wait to get her shoes off to get out there and run and jump on the trampoline. She totally participates the whole time except for the frequent breaks for a sip of juice after about 15 - 20 minutes of "hard work" jumping etc...

Dance

Last night was Addyson's first day of dance at Fabulous Feet in NLR and she loved it! She did so good! I wasn't sure what to expect because it was a new place (not the place where big sissy dances, which she is used to) and she fell asleep on the way there and I had to wake her but she got dressed put her shoes on and ran out on the dance floor. All of the girls were so cute. Addyson followed directions well. She watched what Ms. Shelly did and then imitated just like when she watches big sissy. The girls were so excited they would get distracted and take of running and screeching. I think she will get used to it and calm down and really pay attention. I can't wait to see how she does in the future. Aubryn dances the same night as Addyson so we are busy on Mondays. Aubryn dances from 4:30 - 6 in Little Rock then we drive straight to NLR for Addyson to dance from 6:30 - 7:15. Sometimes I wonder what I am getting myself into. But I love it, I love seeing them happy and enjoying it.

Pumpkin Patch

Sunday my mom and I took the girls to the pumpkin patch to pick out their pumpkins. We had a really fun time other than the fact that it was 80 degrees outside. It sure didn't feel like Fall. The girls had fun going on the hay ride out to pick their pumpkin. When we got back they had some smaller pumpkins for sale and the girls each picked out 4. Addyson was so cute because she had hers in a plastic bag and was carrying them around on her shoulder like it was a purse. She was so proud of her little pumpkins she played with them in the car on the way home. Big sissy taught her say I got 5 pumpkins. We were planning on going Sat. when it was a little cooler outside but it rained so we went to Playtime Pizza instead and they had a blast.

Gymnastics (week 3)

Today Addyson did great at gymnastics. I am so glad. I think it just took a little getting used to. She had fun jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the bar like a monkey.

Oral Surgery

Today Aubryn had to go to Dr. Alfonso an oral surgeon to have 6 baby teeth pulled. Her mouth is so small there isn't enough room for the permanent teeth that are coming from the baby teeth she has already lost. This is only a temporary solution as the teeth that were pulled start coming in there will be crowding again. So this is going to be a long process and eventually she will have to wear braces.

Aubryn was put to sleep for this procedure. Her daddy and I were so proud of her. She did so good. She was a little nervous when they were putting the iv in but other than that she did great. They gave her gas and she was acting kind of silly before she went to sleep.

When we got home we were preparing for the worse (lots of bleeding, vomiting, etc...). She didn't have any problems. She was really hungry because she could only have liquids. We gave her the hydrocodone as directed, the pharmacist said it would knock her out but it didn't. She didn't sleep at all. I know it would have had an affect on me, I don't know why it didn't do anything to her. If anything it hyped her up more. She is ready to go back to school tomorrow. Which isn't near as much fun as watching movies and eating ice cream and chocolate pudding all day.

Future Dancer

Aubryn has dance Mondays at 4:30 at Joel's House of Dance. We usually go to dinner with Amy while Aubryn is dancing but she couldn't meet us today so I decided to stay (just for tap) and let Addyson watch her sissy tap dance. I put her little dance leotard on her and we sat right there and watched. Well I sat, Addyson stood on the edge of the dance floor and would watch what the class was doing and try to imitate. She was so cute. The reason we don't stay anymore is because I couldn't ever keep her off the dance floor she would run out there in the middle of class. She did so good today standing right where she was supposed to. I was so proud of her. I can't wait for her to start dance.
